Moonsoldiers cards

This is a set I came upon many, many years ago and it remains one of my very favourite. To the best of my knowledge it is not a licenced product, but that doesn't impact its appeal.
There are in my collection three different types of Moonsoldiers cards: jumbo, numbered, and unnumbered.  They have little in common, other than the word Moonsoldiers, which runs along either the side (jumbo and unnumbered) or the top (numbered).

** In the jumbo set I have only three cards, which measure about 3¼ in x 5 in. They are numbered, prismatic, and the image on each is repeated on both sides. The cards number 419, 425, and 429. I've never seen any others, ever. But they must be out there.

** The numbered cards measure approx. 2¼ in x 3¼ in and have both regular and prismatic forms, the latter of which are much rarer – I only have 7 of those. The word Moonsoldiers is written along the top in script. All the cards in the set, other than the prismatic ones, have the same back. Of the regular cards, I have 50, missing only one – 387, and they number from 365 to 414. I haven't ever seen any numbers lower than 365 or higher than 414.
Another point worth mentioning is the texture: most are smooth while the others have a rough pebbled surface.

** The unnumbered cards also measure approx. 2¼ in x 3¼ in, have both regular and prismatic forms, which again are much rarer. The regular cards all have the same back, which is different from that of the numbered set, and they vary in texture as do the numbered ones.
The cards are harder to quantify, obviously. The word Moonsoldiers is written along the side with each letter, capitalized, in a box – of which there are four different colour combinations – and at the beginning of each is a crescent moon. The colour combinations are:

green and yellow
yellow and purple
purple and pink
pink and green

I haven't been able to ascertain a pattern for the colour combination / image. It seems to be completely random. But whatever the pattern is it carries over to the prismatic set.

Years ago there were two other collectors who liked these cards, and with whom I corresponded; I think we all had similar experiences with them but it has been many years. I wish I had kept in touch!
